Babulilm Foundation UK received its British registration from the Charity Commission on 14 February 2022. a great blessing from Allah (swt) was that the same date also happened to be 13 Rajab 1443 – the Wiladat day of Amir ul Momineen Ali Ibn Abu Talib (as).
It was founded and at present managed by the three trustees, Mohamed Akbar Ali (Managing), Dr Munawar Hassan and Syed Ali Jaffri (Joint Secretary/Treasurer). The charity provides support in the fields of education, housing, water provision and tabligh, and our operations are currently focused in the UK, Iraq, Pakistan and India.

Education for the extremely poor children has become an urgent priority in this region!
The devastating floods of June 2022 destroyed communities all over Pakistan. Thousands lost their live, countless were injured, most of the livestock drowned and the livelihood structure of families (mostly poor farm labourers) was totally paralysed.
At present a vast majority of hundreds of thousands of zawar, with the exception of a privileged few who can afford to stay in expensive hotels, struggle to find clean and safe drinking water in the precincts of Karbala.
Water pumps are not new to some of the villages in Sindh, Pakistan. However, following the major floods of 2022, the stagnant flood water in most areas eventually subsided and sank.
